Chili Cook-Off Thank You
I want to thank all those who made this event a huge success. While I still have bills to pay, it looks like the event raised approximately $2000.00 for the building of cabinets in fellowship hall.
Tip your hat to:
* The Fellowship committees for helping me take an idea and bring it to fruition.
* The contestants for their great chili and showmanship in decorating their booth.
* The judges for their discriminating taste buds.
* The sponsors for their monetary donations and the local businesses for their gift donation to the silent auction and raffle.
* To Michelle and Dan Brooks for producing the event publication at the last minute when I felt overwhelmed and frustrated.
* The web-site team of Dino Revie and Charlie Motzko for developing the chili link on our website.
* To our customers at the cook-off
* To the entertainment especially the Tucson Rocky Mountain Boys for sharing their musical talent.
* To God for teaching me to be his servant.
Christmas Show at Gaslight Theater
Tickets are on hold for the Gaslight Christmas show scheduled for Sunday December 12th at 3pm. Contact: Len Mowinski
Coffee Hour Volunteers Needed
I need two volunteers to help prepare coffee hour on the 3rd and 4th Sunday of the month. Duties include preparation of cookies, drinks and cleanup. Please contact me if interested.
