Can you tell a caregiver by looking at them?
The only wrong answer I know of to this question is – “I am totally independent and I don't need a caregiver!”
This type of person has not entered the real life world that tells you we are all interdependent. For instance, if you fall or are pushed backward into a cactus, who do you call for help? If your car goes off the road because you are momentarily distracted, who do you call? If that off-road incident just happens to be out of cell service, now who do you call for help? (Think box canyon in Saguaro National Park West.)
I don't know your answers, but since my main caregiver is also handicapped, I call on God first. That is why prayer is so very important to me.
